Bella later informed about Jean's return and present in her homecoming party. Prior the party, she taught Alex Curtiz to made a cake as a gift for Jean.
Several days later, Bella invited Jean to her house. She told Jean how Mortimer confessed her. She also convinced her to give Alex (who had confessed Jean days earlier) her answer as soon as possible. In the next day, she and her friends learned that Alex would move to Roaring Heights.
