Diana was born in the 1970's to Darla Lark (née Westbrookes) and Manny Lark. Diana had decided she wanted to work as a freelance inspector since she was a teenager. Diana left her home when Darla and Manny were killed in a freak storm, Diane left and met Shiva at university, the two fell in love and bought a house together.
