Fashion follows a very similar pay curve to the Hacker career track from Livin' Large, in the sense that the pay at rank 1 is okay, but the pay increases from ranks 2-4 are pitiful, allowing it to fall behind almost all other careers before it accelerates dramatically from rank 5 onward. More specifically, out of all 20 career tracks from the base game, Livin' Large, and Unleashed, it's the 8th highest-paying career track at rank 1, falls to 5th-lowest by rank 4, and finally shoots up to 4th highest by rank 10. It is also the easiest career track to reach the top of, requiring the absolute lowest number of friends (7) to reach rank 10, with Hacker in a four-way tie for second-easiest. At rank 10, it has the second-best ratio of pay to friends required (§1350/7 friends = §192.86/friend), behind Hacker (§193.75/friend). Furthermore, because its rank-10 job is a 7-hour shift, but the Hacker track's rank-10 job is a 9-hour shift, Fashion pays more money <u>per hour</u> (§1350/7 hours = §192.86/hr) than Hacker does (§1550/9 hours = §172.22/hr). However, it still does not pay as well as making lawn gnomes at a workbench (§200/hr).

In other words, if someone called it the Unleashed equivalent of the Hacker career track, they wouldn't be far from the truth.
