Sunset Canyon is the first lot in Strangetown (or Strangeville[1]). The lot is covered by desert, and there is a graveyard where all four premade Sims are buried. All Sims have Platinum Wants to become human again. The small home has 4 bedrooms and only 1 bathroom.
In the console version, the residents are Red S. Hirt, Billy Specter, Sheila Deadbones, and Helga Mandrake. Also, it is the last place most Sims want to be in. For instance, there is no kitchen, no toilet, and also you have to waste your money on those items. But you can redecorate it.
Deleting the gravestones is not recommended, as the game then cannot be completed.
In the console version, the lot has the appearance of an abandoned movie set.
