::Hmm... Checking the history shows that I originally put that in on [http://sims.wikia.com/wiki/Adoption?direction=next&oldid=156878 August 3, 2010]]. At that time, my latest EP was ''Seasons''. I've had FT long enough that I don't clearly remember that, but I'm assuming that it was something I'd observed in gameplay. I suppose it's possible that the ''intent'' was always that the pet would be delivered right away, but that it wasn't implemented until sometime after ''Pets''.
