:::I disagree. Regardless of whether or not it's a "core" feature, The Sims 4 is going to be much more widely-played than The Sims 2 when it releases, and that means more people will be looking for information on The Sims 4 aspirations. So, when they search for aspirations, they're going to get redirected or "pushed" towards the TS2 aspiration information when they're really looking for TS4 aspirations. And if we do that, setting up a disambiguation page is almost essential, since it's not really a good idea to choose one or the other to be the "default" page that is linked to from Aspiration. - <font color="navy">LostInRiverview</font> <font color="green">talk</font> ~ <font color="green">blog</font> 17:13, June 13, 2014 (UTC)

Split

I suggest The Sims 4 section be split up into a different page. Technically, the aspiration in The Sims 4 is a completely different concept from The Sims 2. It's equivalent to lifetime wish and lifetime want. I think it should be separated because it basically has no relation with The Sims 2 aspiration at all, other than the technical name. It looks like that has already happened. The only thing left is to rename this page to the more game-specific Aspiration (The Sims 2). -- LostInRiverview talk ~ blog 16:50, June 13, 2014 (UTC)
I was going to rename this page, but I forgot. Personally, I think it's best to leave "Aspiration" to redirect to The Sims 2 one by default, instead of making a disambiguation page. It's because Aspiration is widely used in The Sims 2 as a major core feature of the game. The Sims 4 aspiration is a major feature too, but as a core feature, not as major as, you know, emotion.
Also, since there are only 2 instances of aspiration, making a disambiguation page is impractical. Nikel Talk Vote! 17:08, June 13, 2014 (UTC)
