The base game (TS3) dropped twins on my unsuspecting Sims. I guess I should count myself fortunate that both parents were in self-directed career paths (Rock Star and Writer), so could fairly easily take shifts with them. I had to laugh, though, when I checked the kids' traits and found one was a Gemini and the other was an Aquarius despite being born on the same day. I'm not sure if we can really call pregnancy a life stage in its own right. :No, I don't think pregnancy counts as a life stage. It's the female Sim who's pregnant, and it doesn't make her a different stage of life. The Sim hasn't existed yet while one is pregnant. While we can't really refrain from using it as a life stage to categorise unborn babies, it's still not an actual life stage.
