The base game (TS3) dropped twins on my unsuspecting Sims. I guess I should count myself fortunate that both parents were in self-directed career paths (Rock Star and Writer), so could fairly easily take shifts with them. I had to laugh, though, when I checked the kids' traits and found one was a Gemini and the other was an Aquarius despite being born on the same day.
