Personally I am at a bit of a loss as to why Sims with dark-blue eyes and Sims with blue eyes are not in seperate categories.C.Syde65 (talk) 08:35, December 20, 2013 (UTC)
:It's a little hard to tell whether Sims have dark or light blue eyes or maybe in-between. In The Sims 2, it's possible to distinguish the eye colors but only with SimPE or SimDNA cheat, because it's very hard to tell if we only compare it with our memory. However, it's impossible in The Sims 3, since "dark blue" and "light blue" are based on the editor's perception, and thus, it's a subjective measure instead of objective. "Blue eyes" covers both shades, so it prevents error, albeit less accurate. There have been too many Sims in The Sims 2 using "blue" as the eyes instead of the specific color also, so it's gonna be a big change if we have to check each Sim one-by-one from start. :I understand that. However for the Sims 2 Sims, on a close examination it isn't so hard. For the Sims 2 Sims it would be nice to put the Sims in different categories [dark-blue and light-blue].C.Syde65 (talk) 09:43, December 20, 2013 (UTC)
