Does anyone think that the Thirst motive should be separated from the Hunger article? It's an entirely new motive even though the deaths are similar and also the way it's fulfilled is different than Hunger.

No, I think it can be handled in the same way that Power and Charge are handled for Servos and SimBots. There's an Equivalents for other life states section in Energy. Something similar could be done for Hunger. Dharden (talk) 14:45, November 25, 2010 (UTC)
No they are fulfilled differently. Even though they have similar outcome, they are still different motives. eg. A Vampire Sim cannot replenish their Thirst need with Sim food but can with Plasma and vise versa . It also has different moodlets, and have different coding linked to them. Remember that Plasma makes a regular Sim nauseas and will deplete the hunger bar partially when the Sim vomits. In Energy for Servos, it can be replenished both by the normal way and by recharging. SimBots are only rechargeable by sleeping.Jeddings123 09:00, November 27, 2010 (UTC)
I disagree with the split. Jedding your argument is flawed: "Remember that Plasma makes a regular Sim nauseas and will deplete the hunger bar partially when the Sim vomits." A vegetarian that eats meat vomits as well. Plasma is just a different type of sustenance; Vampires, like vegetarians, just have a smaller subset of choices to fulfill this need. --a_morris (talk) 22:58, November 29, 2010 (UTC)
