So yeah, food poisoning could actually kill your Sim. The article itself isn't 100% accurate, because it's not true that it takes 10 days for a Sim to die. It all depends on a Sim's illness severity and their cure points, according to the study. I still have a hard time to understand it, so I'll try to update the page some time later.
