Mummy's Curse?[edit source]

Do you reckon this would slot in under 'Illnesses'? I considered adding it, but wasn't sure.

Woodworker's Disease and Unleashed Mystery Illness do not exist.[edit source]

None of these BHAVs have anything to do with disease: [1]

And that the BHAV "Kill Unleashed Disease" here [2]

actually kills this object: [3]

And here's a quote from this thread http://simblesseoblige.com/viewtopic.php?t=5645

just a note for anyone else who might want to work with the illnesses. after spending the better part of the day going through the game far files, i'm confident that there is no unleashed mystery ailment. not to say that sims don't get sick in unleashed, but i would guess that they are actually getting Vacation Poopy Pants. there are absolutely no .iff files for illness in the unleashed far, or in the shared far. the GUID that C&C uses for the unleashed mystery ailment in their medicine cabinet is actually the GUID of the vacation disease controller, which contains all the instructions for being sick. it works with the disease inventory token.

IMO, that supports the notion that, whatever it was, the Mystery Ailment was unintentional. I'm not sure that it supports the idea that there was nothing there at all. Dharden (talk) 03:11, March 6, 2011 (UTC)

Fatal Food Poisoning?[edit source]

I don't know if this is a bug, but playing The Sims 2 I've had two sims in different households die of food poisoning - they get the Death By Illness animation and light green ghost color. Neither case took 10 days (they were at most 2 days), but they both had very low needs, so it's possible that the cause was 3 bottomed out needs while being ill. Has anyone else experienced this? Based on the study of sickness at MATY, food poisoning is actually fatal, and I've changed the page to better reflect it. So yeah, food poisoning could actually kill your Sim. The article itself isn't 100% accurate, because it's not true that it takes 10 days for a Sim to die. It all depends on a Sim's illness severity and their cure points, according to the study. I still have a hard time to understand it, so I'll try to update the page some time later. Nikel Talk Vote! 17:19, May 3, 2014 (UTC)
