Rounding interest points
Rounding interest points
Has anyone ever bothered finding out which way the interest points are rounded in The Sims 2? A lot of interest points, as seen in SimPE, are in decimals. But I have no idea whether 3.9 counts as 3 or 4, and whether 6.5 counts as 6 or 5. I find recent Sims with interest tables have their points rounded down to the floor, instead of the nearest integer. I want to make sure which is correct, since otherwise the information about interest points would be inaccurate to many, many Sims. In case you are still wondering, 6.9 will be shown as 6 in-game, even if it is much closer to 7. The game basically ignores all the decimals and shows just the numbers. -- C.Syde (talk | contribs) 01:03, July 17, 2014 (UTC)
