Anyone know what causes a Sim to have a particular lifetime want? I keep trying to make Mad Scientists or Rock Gods, and they keep wanting to be Media Magnates or Space Pirates. (Just examples, really.) It seems to be loosely based on personality, but in no way that I've been able to decipher. Anyone care to share their experiences? Munineye 21:31, 12 September 2008 (UTC)
- It depends on their Aspiration. For example, Knowledge Sims are more likely to want to be a Mad Scientist. Popularity and Romance are likely to give the Rock God want. -- a_morris 14:41, 13 September 2008 (UTC)
filled lifetime wants
my sims lifetime wants are filled but it has not yet regidted?one sim wants to marry off 6children and 6 of them have married, the other sim wants 6 grandchildren and he has 19grandchildren! what do i do? Jess
Unused Lifetime Wants
Apparently, there were so many lifetime wants, but they were later unused or even at the first place. For example, to have alien babies, pet-related LTW with inconsistent number, and special careers. Nikel23 15:33, April 19, 2011 (UTC)
?
Can you control what the lifetime want is, bsides picking the aspiration?
- In The Sims 3, yes, but not in TS2. ~>ฬђ (tคlк ★ ς๏ภtгเ๒ร) 23:55, July 15, 2011 (UTC)
