Just because she shares a first name with the character from the Bioware RPG series does not mean she is a reference to that character. Morrigan is the name of a Irish war goddess; I believe Wogan may be the name of a mythological diety as well, possibly a reference to Wodan, better known as Odin; both Belisama and Brigit were Celtic goddesses as well, with Brigit being one of the Tuatha De Danann; finally, the hemlock is a poisonous plants. Taking into consideration all of these points, I think that the point that claims Morrigan Hemlock is named after Morrigan from Dragon Age should be removed. <small>—Preceding unsigned comment added by [[User:121.218.228.208|121.218.228.208]] ([[User talk:121.218.228.208|talk]] • [[Special:Contributions/121.218.228.208|contribs]]) (UTC) - Please sign your comments with <nowiki>~~~~</nowiki></small>
:You have a good point, and I agree with you. It seems to be too speculative to say she's a reference. Even though, I know nothing about Dragon Age or mythology. == Portal Reference? ==

In The sims 3 Pets for xbox 360, sometimes when exploring the abandoned mine, a message will pop up that reads:

''"(Sim Name) was exploring when they came across the message "the pie is a lie!"'' s''crawled''''across the wall over and over again.''"

Well, that's more or less what it said, I haven't seen it for some time. Anway, this may be a reference to the phrase "the cake is the lie!"  from the game "portal". Maybe we should add that to the main page?

Another easter egg not mentioned is the Lifetime Reward, I believe it came with Supernatural, called the Philosopher's Stone which turns objects into gold.  It's obviously a reference to Harry Potter. :No, it isn't. The concept of the [[Wikipedia:Philosopher's stone|philosopher's stone]] is ancient. [[User:Dharden|Dharden]] ([[User_talk:Dharden|talk]]) 16:55, July 25, 2014 (UTC)

== (A) Game of Thorns ==

Not sure, if this is really an allusion to [[wikipedia:en:A Game of Thrones|A Game of Thrones]], some fantasy novels by George R. R. Martin.
#The title doesn't begin with the "A" (just removed it from the article).
#Without the "A" it would be the TV series, but that premiered in 2011, while Sims 3 was released in 2009.
#The Sims novel isn't fantasy, but mystery.
#I can't find any connection between the names of the official author, George R. R. Martin (George Raymond (Richard) Martin), and of the fictional one, Guy le France.
Btw., in the German translation of the game they totally removed any possible allusion, for the TV series and the first novel are also called "A Game of Thrones" while the Sim novel was literally translated to "Dornenspiel" (thorn = Dorn; throne = Thron). -- [[User:CompleCCity|CompleCCity]] ([[User talk:CompleCCity|talk]]) 13:35, July 7, 2015 (UTC)
:In the Dutch game it's called: Doornenspel. But in Sims 4 there is a book called Het spel der Tronen. If you translate that it literally means: Game of Thrones. [[User:Sims2Player|<font color="red">'''Sims'''</font>]] [[File:Plumbob.png|7px]] [[User:Sims2Player|<font color="blue">'''Player'''</font>]] ([[User talk:Sims2Player|talk]]) ([[Special:Contributions/Sims2Player|mistakes]]) 12:36, July 9, 2015 (UTC)
::I replied your message in your talk page, but I guess it's better if I quote some parts of my message here because it's relevant to the discussion:

<blockquote>As a commoner, the instance I heard "Game of Thorns," I immediately got reminded of the novel / series. To me, it didn't matter if it lacked a word / letter to the original title, or had differences in some details like the genre or author. I mean, it doesn't exactly have to be a full reference, because the pun title already rings the bell. Thus, I still think the book is a reference to that series and needs to be kept here, albeit ignoring certain details. However, it might be worth pointing out the points you've explained there in the list because I find those facts interesting and relevant as well.</blockquote>

:::Just did add these facts onto the page. As I am aware of the sensitivity of easter egg articles, perhaps someone could check that … -- [[User:CompleCCity|CompleCCity]] ([[User talk:CompleCCity|talk]]) 14:04, July 17, 2015 (UTC)

== Quantum Power Suit? ==

I feel sad no one has added the Quantum Power Suit as a possible nod to Mass Effect. The holographic guantlet looks suspiciously similar to an omnitool. [[User:Mimi Sardinia|Mimi Sardinia]] ([[User talk:Mimi Sardinia|talk]]) 12:11, February 13, 2018 (UTC)
