Always allow Build/ Buy cheat

Do you have to have ambitions, or just the ambitions patch for the "always allow build/ buy" cheat? Please answer quickly!! XXxCrazyThingXxX (talk) 21:50, February 5, 2013 (UTC)

Eh, I'm not sure. But since it's not really related to Ambitions, I think it's carried forward in patch. I know this is late, but just sayin'. Nikel _{Talk – Vote!} 04:38, February 9, 2013 (UTC)

Oh, ok. The reason I needed it quickly was because there was a fire and Mortimer Goth and Malcolm Landgraab decided to stand extremely close, and I was scared they'd die. Still though, I saved them. I tried the cheat, it didn't work, and I have the patch already, so maybe I do need Ambitions. XXxCrazyThingXxX (talk) 12:47, February 9, 2013 (UTC)

It's not necessary, it will let you enter buy build but there are certain other things it won't let you do in there (like move/delete objects or sims mid interaction) there are other cheats to allow that.  It also won't let you delete fire anyway. Ruediix (talk) 14:47, July 27, 2018 (UTC)

Allow Objects on Roof cheat.

The allow objects on roofs works for most objects you can place on ground tiles, but it is buggy on the slopes of roofs.   Objects not designed for roofs interact very badly with roof slopes and peaks. They are also considered inaccessable to Sims, as well as on the floor of the roof.  It will also not allow you to place objects above the maximum floor level. If you can't place objects on a floor there, you can't place objects on a roof there. I've found the best usage for it is to place some decorative items on roofs. I'm going to change it to say "(buggy)" instead. Ruediix (talk) 14:55, July 27, 2018 (UTC)
