I reworded it, hopefully it makes more sense now. In order to "break even" you have to consider ALL your costs. Smelting isn't the only cost, the value of the resource is also a cost. In order to "break even" you have to at least reach the both those values. Just because it was free to pick up doesn't mean its intrinsic value isn't an associated cost. I wonder which one is more effective. Getting a dog with Pets, and training it for hunting, of playing as a werewolf, and hunting for myself. I mean for rare Alchemy reagents, and gems for SimBot creation. Did anyone tried?
