:::Actually, it's not that it's harmful to your game or what. If you make NPCs selectable through testingcheatsenabled, the game won't recognize the Sim as an NPC temporarily. It means that if you make a nanny selectable, she will be considered a visiting Sim and then you'll need another nanny to hire. Using the teleporter cat prevents the game from not recognizing the NPCs. :::That is true. I've had a problem with Baristas that when you make them selectable, the game will automatically spawn a new one. Also if one makes a Sales-Clerk selectable then other Sims may try and interact with them which can distract them from their job.
