What happens if you click the load game option in SimPE, when the disk is in the drive? In this case, it would be The Sims 2: Apartment Life. :I tried that once, and it loaded my then most recent game (BV). Hovewer when I started it normally later (Launcher), it always crashed so I had to reinstall it. I don't know if this happens to everyone, but I'd recommend everyone to stay safe and don't try it. == Compatibility with Windows 8 ==

It's a bit unclear whether SimPE is compatible with Windows 8 or not. We know, with some tweaking here and there, The Sims 2 can run on Windows 8. However, I've never really seen much on SimPE's compatibility with Microsoft's new absurd OS. I asked the question here but it wasn't a very descriptive answer. The only other useful thread about this is here. --k6ka (talk | contribs) 10:57, September 24, 2014 (UTC)
