(I was playing The Sims 3) I was playing with my pregnant sim once, and she had either nine or ten babies (I can't remember)! They were all girls. Was it a glitch? I was using testingcheatsenabled true at the time, could that have triggered it? I have had only three boys so far and the rest are all girls (twins, triplets). Why is this the problem? So far my sim has had 10 babies, and she will be expecting another one.

Also, she has not been pregnant yet and I have tried aging her up. It does not work. Why is this the case? Thanks!

Can you kill a pregnant Sim?!

In the Sims 3, I've tried for hours to kill my pregnant Sim, and apparently it cannot be done. At the beginning of her second trimester, she went swimming, and then I built walls around the whole pool. She got fatigued from the swimming, then got the drowning moodlet, and then got exhausted from no energy. But she never drowned! During the course of the 3 days of "drowning", she went into labor, and she still didn't drown. That's b***s***. Did they really care that much about not aborting pregnancy in any way?96.255.155.232 07:36, June 13, 2010 (UTC)

Please do not use vulgar words on this Wiki. I've edited your comment to block out the full words. LostInRiverview 07:47, June 13, 2010 (UTC)

Hey guys, I was watching youtube and one person said they have a link to download(For free) the ability to get a teen pregnant. Is that possible? --Limemabean 01:53, 18 May 2009 (UTC)

-With the cheat, yes. I would nit recommend doing this, though, because the game codes were not meant for teenage pregnancy, it might crash your game!--Bella Goth 01:57, 18 May 2009 (UTC)Bella Goth

I have a Sim in The Sims 3 who got pregnant at 2 days until elderhood. It's now 6:20 am, the entire day before she was 0 days until aging... Nothing happened. Aging's on. Earlier, I tried to make her blow out the candles on the cake as a test, and she could not. They changed the system; your sim CAN get pregnant just before she becomes an elder, but she won't age into an elder until the pregnancy is over. More information coming on how she ages after giving birth. When I posted this information in a forum, I found that someone else had the same experience as well. http://modthesims.info/showthread.php?t=345089&goto=newpost&posted=1#post2603070 --76.167.225.157 04:18, 9 June 2009 (UTC)

CAN YOU HAVE A BABY WHILE ON VACATION!?!??!?!?!?!??!?!!!!!!!

I found this placed on the main pregnacy page, by anonymous user 67.85.138.230. I thought their question should be answered.--Limemabean 02:39, 25 June 2009 (UTC)

Unfortannly, No.
I have tried that as well and i ended up at home with a pregnant mother. Ha ha. Of course i had to pay the full price hotel bill! Anyway, I had a baby at home which is now a teen and my baby which i got at the hotel (ha) is only a few days till a teen as well. I also have twin toddlers who her learning greatly and have one day till they turn into kids! I might have another baby when my first kid turns into a adult and gets married to his girlfriend. :) ~`Tara~`—Preceding unsigned comment added by 74.199.28.193 (talkcontribs) (UTC) - Please sign your comments with ~~~~

Where is it?

I read that with the tombstone of L and D, you can choose that the pregnancy will last only 3 sims hours. But I can't find it. Where is the choice?—Preceding unsigned comment added by Ellie Dreams (talkcontribs) (UTC) - Please sign your comments with ~~~~

Living Together

In The Sims 3, it is possible for Sims not living together to have a baby. I tried it with my Rockstar and his boss and to my surprise, it worked. The baby lives with the mother and if you don't have them move in, it does make it hard to build a relationship with the chid (you will lose points if the mother is married to someone else and you try to flirt with her, the child only visits occasionally with the mother).—Preceding unsigned comment added by Devlin Dewe (talkcontribs) (UTC) - Please sign your comments with ~~~~

Super duper pregnancy glitch.

Okay so I did this glitch before a long while back I don't know how I did it but it won't happen again and sadly I have no proof of this and I'm pissed off cause now nobody believes me. Anyways one day My family A man a woman and their child. The Wife was pregnant and it was the child's birthday and they had a birthday cake, the man had a sculpted body and was an athlete so I didn't want to ruin his physique same with the daughter, she was an athlete and I didn't want to ruin either of them. But the wife on the other hand was a couch potato and was already chunky so I decided I'm not going to let this cake go to waste so I had her eat the entire cake. The Next day she had her baby, but then she had twins, triplets, quadruplets, quintuplets, sextuplets and it kept going on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on, heck after 6 babies were born it kept making the sim on top unselectable and it was crazy and I am dead serious about all this my sim had a never ending supply of babies and I mean it never ended and I couldn't do anything but watch my sim push out baby after baby after baby shouldn't she have just died or something cause I counted like at least 30 babies before I got bored. So I paused the game and saved it for kicks and to see what would happen if I restarted then after I restarted I wanted to get some evidence of this happening but when I tried to restart it it corrupted the game, not just the file the WHOLE GAME! So I had to reinstall the game and I have no evidence and I haven't tried it again because I didn't feel like it and besides a patch came out the next day so I think this could've been fixed. Now I am dead f'ing serious about this glitch here, I may lie alot but THIS is not something I would lie about because this really happened, has anyone else heard of this happening or experienced it themselves? --Numad 00:37, July 18, 2010 (UTC)

I believe you, but nothing like that's happened to me. It sounds like a corrupt mod. If a mod isn't up to date with your game, it can cause serious problems like that, so it pays to check back.  If you don't use mods, or they're all up to date, it sounds similar to a problem I had with a dog who kept breeding. If that ever happens again, you've gotta stop and try to delete the babies as fast as they come. And in the future, saving in that situation isn't reccommendable. The Raven Nevermore 03:42, April 5, 2014 (UTC)Slade81

I saw this...

Okay, I'm a user here, but too lazy to log in, but I have a '?'. So, I was watching a video on the Sims 3 website. The user on there post a cheatless-cheat. It may sound weird but listen, she said if your sim is preggos, go to a level 10 sim in the medical career (Sims 3 only, guys!) and have him-her examine your preggo sim. He-she will say that you will have a girl or boy. Taking the watermelon/apple thing into mind, eat the fruit of the opposite gender the doctor talked about and you will get (hopefully)...a boy and girl twin pair!! Keep in mind that you have to be inforcing twins!! -- 24.131.224.165 20:51, July 18, 2010 (UTC)

Link to video please?♥Icyyy♥ 00:54, July 19, 2010 (UTC)
I tried this and my result was...the doctor(I went to Nick Knack of Twinbrook) said I was having a girl so I ate 3 apples when she was on the trimesters and she just had a girl(which I named Goldie)♥Icyyy♥ 02:51, July 19, 2010 (UTC)
Also, you have to watch kids TV and/or listen to kids music! I did that and I got boy/girl twins (Kent and Kayla) XxSimsAddictxx 01:42, July 31, 2010 (UTC)

Miscarriages

On the Wiki page, it says The Sims 2 game dosen't have regular miscarriages, but with the seasons expansion pack, people can have miscarriages during the first and second trimesters. The game does a sequence as if the pregnant person is going through labor, but they're actually losing the baby(ies). I know this isn't a glitch because i bought the Seasons book and it's in there too. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Desperaterox22 (talkcontribs) 15:24, January 31, 2011 (UTC) - Please sign your comments with ~~~~

After they do their pushing they have nauseathen a pacifier with a red X goes through their thoughts. And in their memories the same picture is there and it says 'Had a Miscarriage'. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Desperaterox22 (talkcontribs) 15:27, January 31, 2011 (UTC) - Please sign your comments with ~~~~

If "The Seasons book" is the Prima guide, please say where you found this. I have it as well, and have never seen any mention of miscarriage in it. Also, I have never seen any reference to Sims having miscarriages, much less having memories of them, unless mods are used. In other words, I'm dubious. Dharden (talk) 16:18, January 31, 2011 (UTC)
Okay, I'm confused. How can you have miscarriages? Is it a cheat, natural, or a glitch? --Unnamed—Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.42.5.192 (talkcontribs) (UTC) - Please sign your comments with ~~~~

Baby with locals on vacation

My sim had a baby with one of the locals but since then the family moved out of the the house and i can't find them!! My sim just wants to make things right and take his kids back home to raise them... He doesn't know them and they don't walk around town. Thank god for some reason he was able to meet one of them (i dont know how) and he was able to built up enough relationship with him and move him in. Does anyone know how to find lost sims?~?!?

Aww... that's so sad. Sorry that your Sim is having a hard time trying to be a good father. :( I know there is some cheat to move anyone into a family, but I don't use it so that's all I know. --Preceding comment by SmellyCats 21:45, March 11, 2011 (UTC). Sign your comments with four ~'s.

It may be easier to see all of the families in a certain area if you go into the edit neighborhood screen for that vacation destination (or whatever it's called in TS3, sorry). Click on all of the families in the houses one by one until you find the one with your children. Then, have your Sim visit that house on his next vacation. Eupheschism 08:21, April 18, 2011 (UTC)

This page in a nutshell

The purpose of a nutshell is to summarize what the page describes, If I'm not mistaken. The phrase "Gameplay in The Sims 2 and The Sims 3" doesn't really fit this purpose, does it? So, we could either remove the nutshell parthenon, or improve it. I personally believe it should be removed as no other article, uses it. A trip to hell is an exciting experience, isn't it?

CAS Twins?

(TS3) In CAS, there's a create a twin button. Does this make the sim more likely to give birth to twins, like in-game twins are? Or is the CAS twin just a look-a-like?

GothLoliManda (talk) 18:51, August 27, 2012 (UTC)

It's just a lookalike. However I've made twins & I don't know if it makes it more likely, but I doubt it. Of course you obviously could still get twins, especially if you have the LR "fertility treatment" and you listen to kids music and watch kids TV a lot, especially if it's the same time :) 16:26, February 3, 2013 (UTC)—Preceding unsigned comment added by XXxCrazyThingXxX (talkcontribs) (UTC) - Please sign your comments with ~~~~

Maternity clothes

Is there a hack in SimPE that can allow you to make Sims wear maternity clothes as their everyday outfit, so that it appears in their thumbnail? C.Syde65 (talk) 06:39, December 27, 2013 (UTC)

I GOT TRIPLETS!!!!!!!!

Once I was playing a Sim female who got pregnant, then I decided to get more Lifetime Happiness Points so I could have twins. I made her eat 3 watermelons everyday, and eventually I bought the Fertility Treatment Lifetime Reward. I made her read pregnancy books and do kids' stuff, because I read that doing these interactions will increase the chance of twins.

I made her move house (she doesn't live with Dad) so she had room for children. I bought 1 of everything, because I never, never, ever got twins. She adopted a cat, who went to sleep. My pregnant Sim went upstairs to sleep. After a few Sim hours, she got up and went downstairs...then went into LABOR!!!!! I was expecting 1 child, or even twins...but...I was AMAZED!!!! Not 1, not 2, but 3! I couldn't believe it. How could I usually have one sim born, then suddenly get triplets when twins were what I wanted?

2 of the girls had blonde hair, while the 3rd had brown hair. I used cheats to change their looks, then they all automatically started playing and singing with their Imaginary Friends that my Sim had took out of the mailbox after giving birth. I had used cheats to age them into toddlers, and made the Toddler stage longer because I had to make them learn their skills. I called them Sara, Patricia and Gladys.—Preceding unsigned comment added by 2.220.243.131 (talkcontribs) 11:00 02 April 2014 (UTC) - Please sign your comments with ~~~~
