Emmit and Jake change surname after Carly's marriage?

Technically it's the Preston Family as Carly is actually their nanny. It's said in the family description. Ok, she shows up as the mother in the family tree, but if she marries Michael Donovan (just to say someone) and she becomes "Carly Ruiz-Donovan", does the kid's last name become Ruiz-Donovan, or Preston-Donovan? Or will the kids not have their last names changed after Carly's marriage?
