In Simnation it is. If i mean i'd name my son (or even daughter) that (if i have one, even if i'm asexual and go invitrio fertilization) i easily could. BUT it's a real name in the series, a popular name in Simnation actually. It's just that all other sims that are named Simis, live in places we don't play in the series. I think it's a unisex name there. If you really want it to be a real name, what about naming your firstborn that? When they ask your firstborn about the name they can just say they're named after the father of a sims character. I'm sure moms'll name their kids weirder names in the future. Have you SEEN what the ITF townies are called? Quite a few of them have weirder names than Simis. If you have a daughter say it's an unisex name okay? [[User:Kaiko Mikkusu|Kaiko Mikkusu]] ([[User talk:Kaiko Mikkusu|talk]]) 15:07, January 23, 2015 (UTC)

something is fishy..

In the sims 2 simis bachelor died as an elder. if he died as a n adult his family tree would show that, and his pcicture would never age

So my question is: how can the sims 3 tell a storyline of simis dying as an adult, when in the Sims 2 he died as an elder?

..I ponder...maxis is really screwwing up plot lines first mrs crumplebottom now this?

I agree. But maybe he was an elder in The Sims 3. Perhaps he was a sugar daddy to Jocasta. --Bayoubash 02:37, 9 April 2009 (UTC)
What? Simis is supposed to be alive when the game starts, he always died as an elder in my game though.

Simis death

Ok, I don't insist. You will see when you will play the game that Simis IS alive! --Aster09 15:15, 27 May 2009 (UTC)

Quick Question

in the sims 3 is the facial features of origional characters the same as the ones in the sims 2? --222.155.3.120 03:45, December 2, 2009 (UTC)

Nope, they aren't. Michael Bachelor for example, looks a lot more like his TS1 self than his TS2 self (he has red hair and light skin tone though).
