Bleeh My daddy is the richest man in all of Belladonna Cove!

I think that this isn't a real EP, coming from a fansite and all. We shouldn't say it's absolutely coming out until EA or another reliable source does.

Not Sure[edit source]

TALK - I'm the prettiest girl on this Wiki!
I believe what Bleeh is saying is right. I belive that we should wait for the Sims3.com to see if it's true.

I think this page should be removed as the original source is gone now. 86.154.139.183 18:53, February 18, 2010 (UTC)

It's quite unusual if there are two EPs being developed at the same time, so lets wait until EA speaks up.

Awesome[edit source]

So it's real... This really has potential. Let's hope for something good. Coraircate 23:51, March 6, 2010 (UTC)

I really hope it's not as much of a let-down as The Sims 3: World Adventures was for me :|. Bleeh Lions make you brave, giants give you faith...♥ 23:54, March 6, 2010 (UTC)
I dunno. A few patches could fix World Adventures but I doubt there will be too many beyond glitch fixes. And I'm really hoping they do let us play as Servos again. Coraircate 00:00, March 7, 2010 (UTC)
It's not the glitches I didn't like, because I didn't really experience any of those, it's the boring-ness of the game I didn't like. Eventually making your Sims go on vacations gets boring. I really hope they do let us play as Servos, I fell in love with them in TS2 :D. Bleeh Lions make you brave, giants give you faith...♥ 00:06, March 7, 2010 (UTC)

New Video?[edit source]

They said something about a new video, but when i selected to view it, it said the page doesn't exist on EA.com. Was it just a temporary and i missed it?http://i220.photobucket.com/albums/dd292/scoot1331/Snowballs.png Alex1496 http://i220.photobucket.com/albums/dd292/scoot1331/Snowballs.png 11:46, March 13, 2010 (UTC)

Challenge "Not Being Able to Own A Business"[edit source]

I challenge the statement that you cannot own your own business. The article given as a reference indicates that this expansion is focussed on controlling your sims at work, and it is not focussed on running your own business like in Open for Business. However, it does not bluntly state that you cannot buy out the business and then run it, it may well be possible to do both. There is no indication otherwise.

You cannot own a business, at least not as you would in TS2: Open for Business. Basically, you sim purchases a venue somewhere in town. They then have to meet certain requirements, (Number of a specified object etc), according to the lot type. Once your sims has done this they can then start earning money per week. It is practically the same as it was in the base game except you immediately gain control over the venue, (Instead of owning a partnership and then having to buy out all the over partners), and can edit it in build and buy mode. Hope this helps in some way. Oh and please remember to sign your posts Guffers 14:41, June 1, 2010 (UTC)

Fireballs/Meteors?[edit source]

Did anyone watch the Ironman video. It almost looks like those are meteors or fireballs (or satelites) falling from the sky. Do you guys think that will be a feature in the game, I mean, they do have exploseves and earthquakes? -Garret360

Bella Goth - My hobbies include organ practice and gardening of the lethal variety.
TALK - Have you seen my family?
I hope they have a piano in this game since it is similar to Freetime! I really can'tbelieve they didn't include a piano in the base game!
A piano in the game would be very good! ^_^. Earthquakes have been confirmed to be part of the game, but who knows, EA might take earthquakes out of the game at last minute. Bleeh (talk) 01:31, April 29, 2010 (UTC)
Or maybe they will have both. DavidMC123

Kiwi_tea - n00b.
TALK - I am the Walrus
I've got a feeling the fireballs might signal the reintroduction of satelite death. That was the only thing that could kill Servos in TS2. Notice how the Servo comes crawling up out of a crater towards the end?

im bored[edit source]

it's cool they made wrld adventures first. and now ambitions. but the ex pack should be animals, and not just pets, but farm and cool wild ones too like monkeys and elephants. but it'd also be cool if u could ride horses and milk cows and stuff. and since ats sims, they'd of course have 2 have llamas!

Laundry System[edit source]

Please change the statement about the laundry system. It has already been confirmed... By the looks of the sentence, it might seem that the laundry system is yet to be confirmed... that's all

Can I change the statement:

In a French language interview it was stated that Sims would be able to do laundry and other chores to get Sims in an especially good mood. There will be washers and dryers available including one dryer that has a special "surprise."

I just want to change the proposed idea of the statement to a more definite one. There is a more definite confirmation of the laundry system in one of the threads in the official forums. The understudy 13:12, May 7, 2010 (UTC)

Commemorative Edition[edit source]

What's the difference between The Sims 3: Ambitions Expansion Pack Commemorative Edition and the normal The Sims 3: Ambitions Expansion Pack? Guffers 20:16, May 26, 2010 (UTC)

i think its because it comes with a book, it might also come with extra stuff like the collectors edition of TS3. Dentface

Then why is it the same price? I can't decide which one to pre-order! Guffers 15:07, May 27, 2010 (UTC)

Thanks who ever posted the info on ambitions main page. Wow. All that and it's the same price? At least it's the same price at Game.co.uk. Guffers 15:15, May 27, 2010 (UTC)

Frankensim?[edit source]

I noticed someone added 'Frankensim' to the Creature category ad was wondering where it came from. It was posted by a unregistered contributor; 71.62.105.144. Is it real or just vandalism? Guffers 16:45, May 29, 2010 (UTC)

Can someone change or remove the text about frankensim saying 'Some players believe that testing experimental medicines..' etc, as it has been confirmed. --Guffers 14:39, May 30, 2010 (UTC)

The user posted a link to the fourm on The sims 3 site that talks about frankensim and the prima guide. they mentioned an interview with grant where he mentioned it. grant "a.k.a. Simguruwarus" did not post on that forum nor has any of the interviews that he's been in recently has he mentioned Frankensim thus i removed the entry above Renovation mode. Price[edit source]

How much does The Sims 3:Ambitions cost??monster2821?

On the official GAME website, it's said that if you pre order the game, it will only cost £19.99, but if you buy it in store, it should cost £24.99, for both the standard game, and the commemorative edition.
