Ruins in France?

I just think it's odd. How could there be ruins or tombs in france? Are there tombs or ruins there in real life or something?

Eiffel Tower

Turns out the Eiffel Tower IS in the game and not just as background scenery. If you enter "buydebug on" into the cheat consle the Eiffel Tower is in there (along with all the other abroad sights to see, pyramids, sphinx, dragon cave ect...)
