Book-Learned Abilities Too?

Can anyone confirm or deny whether the Thinking Cap also improves the speed at which you study and learn special abilities (ie. Fire Safety, Parenting, Couples Counseling, et al) from books?  I'll try to get a few of my Sims (one wearing the Thinking Cap and two without it) into a "race" to see who learns Fire Safety first, but I figured that someone who has already done this (or who can crack open the game engine and look right at the code somehow) might spare me the trouble, thanks.  BloodyBay from YouTube (talk) 22:24, July 15, 2014 (UTC)

I don't know how to look at The Sims 2 game codes, but for a good measure, I think there's no loss if you read the book while wearing the cap. Nikel _{Talk – Vote!} 05:57, August 1, 2014 (UTC)
