:That part of the article may need to separate information for ''The Sims 2'' and ''The Sims 3''. In ''The Sims 2'', "growing up well" means growing up in gold or platinum [[Aspiration bar|aspiration]]. In ''The Sims 2'', toddlers '''can''' grow up well even if they don't learn those skills, though learning them certainly helps.
