Tay, like the rest of his family, is depicted as an avid, outdoorsy individual, and is portrayed as a poor student that dislikes school. At the start of the game, he is at level 1 in the [[Fishing#The Sims 3|fishing]] [[skill]], and carries a baseball and a book in his inventory. He is friends with all members of his family and gets well along with them, but he has no friends his age.
