Description[edit source]

This template tells bots and other automated editing tools that they should or should not edit the page that has this template. It has no output and does not affect the appearance of the page.

This template does not supply any technical restrictions against bots to prevent them from editing a page. Whether or not a bot or tool chooses to ignore pages with this template depends on the code of the bot and whether or not it is told to skip pages with this template.
