Template:Closed/doc

Description

This template can be used to close discussions on talk pages, notably the administrators' noticeboard.

Usage

For issues that have been resolved, add either:

{{Closed|type=resolved}}
{{Closed|type=res}}
{{Closed}}

For issues that have not been resolved, add either:

{{Closed|type=not resolved}}
{{Closed|type=dead}}
{{Closed|type=nr}}

To use a straightforward "Discussion closed" message, add:

{{Closed|type=closed}}

For issues that are irrelevant to the page it is being discussed on, add either:

{{Closed|type=no longer relevant}}
{{Closed|type=nlr}}

In all cases, it is possible to add a custom message to the template, usually to explain why the discussion was closed. In this case, use the |text=Your text here parameter. For example:

{{Closed|type=dead|text=No consensus was established}}
