Description

This template is used at the start of a section to link to the main article on that subject.

Syntax

Type {{main|page name}} anywhere on the page. For example, {{main|Help:Contents}} gives...

Main article: Help:Contents

You can add multiple pages, up to a maximum of five. For example, {{Main|One|Two|Three|Four|Five}} gives...

Main articles: One, Two, Three, Four, and Five

This is the TemplateData documentation for this template used by the VisualEditor and other tools.

TemplateData for Main

This template is used after the heading of a section, to link to a sub-article (or sub-articles) that is entirely about the topic of the section. The template will display in italics: "Main article: Article 1, Article 2 and Article 3".
