Page(s) for deletion: {{{1}}}
Any member of the wiki may participate in a deletion discussion. Comments during discussion should focus on why the article should or should not be deleted, merged, or modified. Users should explain their reasoning sufficiently. Deletion discussions are not votes; strength of argument matters more than the number of people in favor or opposed to deletion.
The template also categorizes the subpage into the correct category, depending on whether the page has been archived (by default, the template assumes that the page is not archived).
- Parameters
1 = A list of all pages that are nominated for deletion. These pages are not automatically linked, so brackets should be included. If a page is deleted, the brackets should be removed to prevent the page from showing up on Special:WantedPages.
2 = The outcome of the deletion discussion, once the discussion has been concluded. This parameter will accept any input, but certain inputs will output predefined text:
- kept or keep: After discussion, the page(s) nominated for deletion was/were kept and not deleted.
- delete or deleted: After discussion, the page(s) nominated for deletion was/were deleted.
- speedy delete, speedy, or sd: The page(s) nominated met criteria for speedy deletion and were deleted without discussion.
- no conclusion, inconclusive, no consensus, or unresolved: The deletion nomination was not resolved; by default, the nominated page(s) is/are kept until a new discussion can resolve the page(s) status.
If you type in something that's not one of the above, the text you type will be used instead. This can be used for custom messages.
