- Description
- This template is intended for use in the block summary when range blocking an IP range. Because a range block can affect hundreds if not thousands of users, a block message that reassures all innocents that the block they received was merely collateral damage is important. This template should inform innocent users caught up in a range block that the block was not aimed directly towards them, and provide tips on how to get around the block.
- Usage
- This template should be used in the block summary/reason of the user, not the talk page, as it is meant for range blocks, which block multiple IP addresses. Thus it should be transcluded:
