::::::It can't. The template cannot know if you want to link a neighborhood or not, so it's done automatically. People are used to automatic linking in <code>neighbor</code> parameter, so if it's changed to manual linking, all Sim fanons are affected. A simpler way is to rename the fanon. But seeing that it's left unfinished for a long time, it won't be long to get deleted...
