The HottCorp Burning 8-R Series Fire Jet, also known simply as the fire jet, is an object introduced in The Sims 2: Nightlife. Sims can roast marshmallows using this object, but have a slight chance of catching on fire while doing so. Objects placed too close to this object may also catch on fire. Sims and objects will not catch on fire when placed on an unowned community lot.
A Sim can be directed to turn it on or off. By default they are turned off on residential lots, but turned on on unowned community lots.
The object has an environment score of 5.
