When [[testingcheatsenabled]] true is activated, you can raise or lower your Sim's current motive by clicking on any motive and then dragging your mouse to the left or right. This function can be also used to raise or lower relationship on any Sims. You can also adjust your Sim's progress in any profession if Ambitions is installed. However you will only see the motives change if you are in an unpaused game. When paused you can still do this action, but it'll take effect only after you resumed the game.
 
===Avoiding Arrests In The Criminal Career===
Through the use of the [[testingcheatsenabled]] and resetsim cheats, a player can use the resetsim cheat on the arresting non-playable [[police officer]] before they arrive at the [[criminal career]] rabbithole. Simply activate testingcheatsenabled and then type resetsim then the NPC police officer's first name and last name separately. The NPC police officer and their car will then reset back into stasis. The cheat must be performed before the officer enters the criminal warehouse and do not attempt to use deleting cheats on the NPC police officer as the game can glitch or the save file can become corrupted. This cheat requires a vigilant watch on the areas surrounding the warehouse in order to work, especially if you think your criminal Sim isn't very lucky so keep an eye out for the police car and listen for its sirens.
