PC cheats[edit | edit source]
The following codes will only work on in Shipwrecked And Single mode (story mode). The codes will always work in Wanmami Island mode (Freeplay mode). Additionally codes will only work when a lot is loaded, and not in the "Neighborhood" screen. Press [Ctrl] + [Shift] + [C] during game play to display the console window. Then, enter one of the following codes to activate the corresponding cheat function. You also enter the first part of a code and press [Tab] to have the console complete the rest of the command. Press [Up] or [Down] to scroll through the console window history. Press [Esc] to close the console window.
Toggle buy mode tools that are normally disabled in a community lot: boolProp dormSpecificToolsDisabled <true or false>
Press [Comma] or [Period] to rotate any object in 45 degree increments: boolProp allow45DegreeAngleOfRotation <0 or 1>
Make pet actions cancellable: boolProp petActionCancel <0 or 1>
Makes pets controllable: boolprop controlPets <0 or 1>
Display game's version: gameVersion
Toggle aging for all Sims: aging <on or off>
Toggle checking for patches through content browser: autoPatch <on or off>
Toggles if bugs in a jar can live forever: bugJarTimeDecay <on or off>
Clear console window: clear
Close the console window: exit
Hide the console window: hide
Expand or contract the output portion of the console window: expand
Log help output: help <wildcard or -all> or h wildcard or -all
Increase family resources by 1,000: kaChing
Increase family resources by 50,000: motherLode
Toggles vertical sync: vsync <on or off>
