A Bot is an automated piece of software which uses a seperate account and performs trivial tasks on a wiki.
The Sims Wiki does not employ any automatic bots, but we have users with bot accounts. Those users can use bot software to perform tasks, but only when directed to do so, it does not happen automatically.
