This page lists specific rules put into place for existing users by Administrators. These users have likely been troublesome in one way or another yet seem to want to contribute in good faith or don't warrant any kind of extremity when it comes to discipline and as such, are given specific additional restrictions based on past behavior, tendencies to act disruptively, etc.

The rules here are to be dealt with by Admins only. If you see one of the following users causing trouble in one of the listed manners, please inform an admin ASAP.

Active Restrictions

Below is a list of active restrictions on problem users. Users may be moved to Probation if they show good behavior for a reasonable amount of time since the institution of their restrictions or last block.

Mrs.red bird

User: Mrs.red bird (talk · contribs · editcount · block · modify rights · logs · block log)
Instated by: Lost Labyrinth (c)(b)
Overview of Problems Since registering, Mrs.red bird has garnered a reputation for creating misleading blogs and using the comments system to spam and this has also boiled over to fanon. It seems she is banned from several other wikis for disruption but given she's had a few good faith edits here, it's worth trying to keep her around.
User Restrictions
  • Writing multiple comments on blogs/fanon articles which have no particular purpose will result in a 24 hour ban with all comments on said article to be deleted. Subsequent offences will stack.
  • Creating purposeless or misleading blogs will also result in a 24 hour ban with subsequent offences stacking. Any blogs which fall under this are to be deleted.
Comments She knew via my talk page that she would end up here if she carried on and once again she tried her luck. This will come into effect once her current 3 day block is up. Lost Labyrinth (c)(b) 21:49, May 2, 2013 (UTC)

Probation

Users listed here have shown good behavior and are to be released from their restrictions pending an additional 30 days of good behavior. Users must be reasonably active during these 30 days in order for their restrictions to be lifted.

Lesya Zirka

Overview of Problems Lesya Zirka has been known for a little while to have a major interest in Ukrainian culture. While this is certainly not a bad thing, it has caused numerous issues in moderation which had caused a role in her two chatbans for spam and a number of her blogs being deleted due to their content, as they were merely just a few lines about one specific thing regarding Ukrainian culture (example - admins only, sorry) and they have caused a backlash from members of the community.

With her chatbans and previous other warnings (both on-Chat and on-wiki) taken into account, it seems something should be done to make this not so much of an issue for both Chat and the wiki in its entirety. Lesya has potential as evident by her edit count and it would be fair to try and keep her around despite all of this.

User Restrictions
  • Lesya is allowed to post one line of text about Ukrainian culture in Chat and can continue a discussion provided others also share an interest in the discussion. If after one line there is no response, she should leave it be. If she continues then she'll earn a 24 hour ban from Chat for each offence and subsequent offences will stack (example: 24 hours > 48 hours > 72 hours etc.). This also includes complaining that nobody is responding to her on the subject.
  • Lesya must not create blogs with very little content about one thing related to Ukranian culture. Doing so will result in her related blogs being deleted and a block of 24 hours will be applied for each offence with subsequent offences stacking.
  • As it hasn't been a major issue, Lesya is allowed to mention her interests in Ukranian culture in the off-topic forum provided she has something substantial to add or a small reference (like in Forum:The person below you game). Abusing this in relation to her aforementioned blogging restriction will result in the same blocking model as mentioned above.
Comments
  • Note that an offence in Chat should not equal an additional ban on-wiki unless both Chat and the wiki have been used for these offences and vice versa. If she can go about a month or so without any offences then I'll move this to probation. I'm counting on you Lesya, don't mess this up. Lost Labyrinth (c)(b) 19:04, March 13, 2013 (UTC)
  • Was just notified on IRC that Russian and Belarusian have been a bit problematic too. Basically if it's sparse in nature and appeal then it probably should be considered under this. Lost Labyrinth (c)(b) 19:38, March 13, 2013 (UTC)
  • There have been no additional offenses in over a month. As per Lost Labyrinth's statement above, I am starting a probational period on this ER. -- LostInRiverview talk ~ blog 03:08, May 12, 2013 (UTC)
    • FWIW, this user hasn't really been that active lately. That said, I'm happy to apply TSW:AGF and go along with the probation. Lost Labyrinth (c)(b) 09:01, May 12, 2013 (UTC)
