JM9193[edit source]

JM9193 (talk · contribs · editcount · block · modify rights · logs · block log)

I am nominating JM9193 for Rollbacker rights. This user has more than 2,500 quality edits and is a very dutiful worker. He has a history of anti-vandalism work as well, so I thing giving him rollbacker rights would be a good move. -- LostInRiverview talk · blog 21:21, February 12, 2011 (UTC)

I do accept the nomination. Thanks! JM9193 22:19, February 12, 2011 (UTC)

- Strong Support - The work he has done is something we should value, I think he has potential to do the job, he has made very gorgeous contributions to the wiki :D, he is a friendly person, and he hasn't committed any flaws when it comes to socialisation with wikians and editors, I would like to give my congrats to him, and leave a suggestion, JM9193, when creating articles about playable Sims please make sure you give more written content about them and their family histories, just t, congrats for filling templates so perfectly :)! Good luck with the nomination! --Guilherme Guerreiro (talk here) 22:26, February 12, 2011 (UTC)

- Strong Support - the good work that he has done for the wiki had given me the impression that he already had rollback. I think he deserves the rights and he will use them correctly. GG (t)(c)(b) 22:34, February 12, 2011 (UTC)
Approved. Dharden (talk) 13:47, February 19, 2011 (UTC)

I would like to request myself for rollback rights. I know this is a little crazy but anyway, I won't be very disappointed if I am not accepted, anyway. So here is a list of my qualifications:

  • Has done over 1,000 edits.
  • Has been contributing in this wiki for a generally long amount of time.
  • Is available to log into The Sims Wiki almost every day.
  • Uses understandable English.
  • Tries to be nice and helpful, but still makes social mistakes (Unlike TV Show presentors, I am not perfect).
  • Has not ever been blocked before.
  • Always checks article discussions and the community portal.
  • Is good at taking photos from The Sims 3, 2, 1.
  • Has all the games of the series ever realesed for PC and PSP.
  • Is a modder and can easily verify stuff by looking into the game strings.

You have done some good work for the wiki and I think that you deserve the rollback rights as it will help you with anti-vandalism, something you do often. Good luck! Lost Labyrinth (c)(b) 15:03, March 27, 2011 (UTC)
Support, you, and the wiki, deserve it! --BobNewbie talkblog 15:10, March 27, 2011 (UTC)
Full Support - I belive you have potential to be one of our wikia leaders, you're very creaative, specially when it comes to templates, and they are all wonderful and imaginative! Giving rollback would be an important step to make you one of our wikia leaders! Thank you so mcu for being part of this wiki. --Guilherme Guerreiro (talk here) 15:39, March 27, 2011 (UTC)

This user, fleeing from Total Drama Wiki, has done tremendous work on the wiki, mainly being a wiki-gnome. Fixing up articles, I.E. spelling, punctuation, sentence usage, etc. She really does deserve to be a moderator. Ѧüя◎ґ 23:27, April 14, 2011 (UTC)

Strong Support - she has done a lot of good work for the wiki in a short space of time and she deserves the rights! Lost Labyrinth (c)(b) 23:37, April 14, 2011 (UTC)

Neutral, leaning towards support - The only objection I would have would be that she recently joined the wiki. Besides that, I think she has done a great job on the wiki and deserves the rights. --Bleeh(talk) (blog) 00:15, April 15, 2011 (UTC)

Woganhemlock[edit source]

I am a dedicated editor and wish to improve this wiki. While I have only been here for a month, I think I can improve the wiki substantially. I always try to be kind to other users, and am an active user. I always use correct english, and I am on this wiki every day. I have a total of nearly 500 edits on this wiki, and a total nearing 1150 over several wikis. I feel that with rollback powers I could become a more effective editor and further improve this wiki. --WoganHemlock (talk) · (blog) 01:43, April 17, 2011 (UTC)

You show good potential and I see good-quality work. I've approved the request. -- LostInRiverview talk · blog 01:53, April 17, 2011 (UTC)

i am nice and i have down syndrome 15:23, April 20, 2011 (UTC)

Oppose - I am not trying to sound harsh here but this user has made very few edits and was given their final warning today. Furthermore, their deleted contributions show everything that this user has contributed to the wiki. If this user improves, maybe I'll support in a few months but if I was a bureaucrat, I would have immediately declined this request. Lost Labyrinth (c)(b) 16:13, April 20, 2011 (UTC)
Request denied. You have only been here a few days, and do not have a strong edit history. Even if you hadn't just come off a block, and just been given a final warning, I would deny your request for that reason. Dharden (talk) 16:29, April 20, 2011 (UTC)
ETA: This is moot, as this user has been permanently blocked. Dharden (talk) 16:43, April 20, 2011 (UTC)

SoaringDragon[edit source]

SoaringDragon (talk · contribs · editcount · block · modify rights · logs · block log) I am nominating this user in order to become a rollbacker due to her amazing skills at editing, and her so fast improvement to stub pages and creation of others, particularly regarding Castway stories. I think it would be very good to have her as a rollbacker so that she can revert vandalism more easily, something she has already done, her anti-vandalism "record" is also very valuable, considering she has joined recently. Guilherme Guerreiro(talk here) 16:43, June 16, 2011 (UTC)

I accept, thank you Gui. If I don't get rollback I don't mind. The recogintion is enough for me. :)

Neutral --BobNewbie ∞(Talk)∞ 07:50, June 17, 2011 (UTC)

Seeing what's happening on here, may I ask the reasons you all support/oppose or are in a neutral position to this nomination? Guilherme Guerreiro(talk here) 13:38, June 17, 2011 (UTC)

Weak Support - I can understand the neutrals/opposes as you haven't been here long and your edit count is a little bit short of the requirements. I'm voting as a weak support because of this but I doubt you would abuse the rights and would use them correctly. Lost Labyrinth (c)(b) 13:42, June 17, 2011 (UTC)

In response to Guilherme, the thing is not that I don't trust her. She's a great user, but I am unsure that a user who's been with us only a week would be able to truly use them correctly. Though I don't judge people on terms of edit counts, hers is quite little and doesn't meet the requirement, and though she's helped us with 2 cases of vandalism that I remember of, I haven't really gotten the opportunity to see exactly how she handles different situations. BobNewbie ∞(Talk)∞ 13:55, June 17, 2011 (UTC)

Honestly, you guys are all putting way too much scrutiny into a simple rollback position. The point of all the requirements is to show some sort of proof that a rollbacker can use a rollback tool without causing catastrophic damage (which, might I add, is completely reversible). Rollbackers aren't administrators and they have no responsibilities above that of a regular user.

That said, I must, at least for now, decline this application. SoaringDragon has been on the wiki for 8 days, and is a bit light on edits. Even just a couple more weeks of work would make her completely eligible, so I encourage her to keep working and to apply again around the beginning of July. And to all the other users, keep in mind that these applications should not be so heavily vetted in the future. -- LostInRiverview talk · blog 17:09, June 18, 2011 (UTC)
