Toadstool races

Toadstool Races are minigames/missions you can start by talking to any vendor in Magic Town. When you start the race, there will be a number of toadstools (not the gray ones you can sit on) that will appear. Your task is to touch more toadstools than the vendor. When you touch one it will turn blue, when a vendor touches one it will turn red. The one with more of their color wins (Ties will always go the the vendor). If you win, you will recieve a special ingredient from them. Some Vendors are harder to beat than others, these are the order of vendors and how hard they are to beat.

• Vicki Vampiress: Easiest to beat, she will just walk up to them.
• Apothecary Todd: The 2nd easiest vendor to beat, he will run up to them, which can be hard to beat. If you click "Go here" on the area in front of the toadstool and they run, you might have a good chance.
• Faerie Queen Mara: The hardest vendor to beat, she will teleport to every toadstoll and likely beat you. Unless you obtain teleportation from an Crystal Clear Ability Rocks, it is recomended that you race another vendor.

Tips

Shortly after the toadstools appear, you can pause and find all the toadstools, and click on them, then resume and your Sim will run over to each one in order you clicked them. This is a great way to even the odds with the vendors, who dont have to keep searching.
