The other solution would be to terminate Samantha's pregnancy using a third-party mod or hack, such as the [[InSimenator]]. As of 2014, players who download The Sims 2 Ultimate Collection will not have the bug, so it is safe for Samantha Ottomas to have her pregnancy come to term.
