Note: I don't own Pets, and I'm not interesting in buying it. However, I do own Pet Stories, which is pretty much the same.
Expansion pack
Pros
Cons
Undecided
I would love to have Open for Business because I think it allows players to do so much, but I can't seem to find it anywhere.
Once I get my hands on it, I'll fill out this section.
9/10
Playing the weather is very fun, and the new activites are very amusing. I love the new Gardening and Fishing features. The weather affects are really great.
It's a bit weird when it's dead cold on one lot, and sizzling hot on another. The Sims 2 doesn't have story progression, but still... I would've liked to see more types of fish. Also, I'm not so crazy about the snow levels. There are only 2, and you can play in snow in only one.
8/10
There are tons of new features here, but to sum it up: a huge neighbourhood, a variety of new interesting options and objects and witches! :D
Some apartments are really small, barely enough for 2 Sims. Plus, I hate how NPCs move in 10 seconds after I move my Sim in.
7/10
I like playing with hobbies and the new activites. The gameplay isn't so routine as it was before. The new talent badges are a nice addition, and I like NPC aging. Some of the Aspiration Benefits are awesome.
The secret hobby lots that came with the game aren't something special really. Also, with the Lifetime Aspiration Meter it's harder to make the normal one Perma Platinum.
7/10
This is a great expansion pack because it offers new venues, objects, aspirations, activities... and even vampires! :D I think the Downtown is cool too!
This expansion pack lacks a little in certain areas. The Vampires can get annoying with their needs.

Sims can now go to university! With a variety of new objects and neighbourhoods, this EP surely impressed me! And with lots of people in a dorm, anything can happen!
It takes too long to complete college. Often you'll see Sims just doing assignments.
5/10
Three new destinations offer tons of new activites. I love the Walk to lot interaction.
Where to begin? Okay.
1) The three destinations are too small. They have about 10 lots of which many are just hotels to stay in?
2) If you can buy the special objects at home, what's even the point of going to a vacation?
3) Vacations can be expensive.
4) There isn't a lot to play with in my opinion.
5) You saw it once, you saw it all. Sorry, BV.
The Sims 2 Stuff Packs
Note: I don't have H&M.
Stuff Pack
Pros
Cons
10/10
It adds tons of new objects. Really fun to experiment with. Like the title, great for mansions and villas.
All the objects in this pack are very expensive. A Sim must work extremely hard to move in in the mansions described in the pack.
9/10
I was skeptical when I saw the trailer, but now I couldn't imagine my bathrooms and kitchens without this pack. There are some really charming stuff.
It's a fairly small pack. They could have added even more objects. The theme is very well, however. They could've expanded it into a Home Decor stuff pack.
9/10
A variety of new objects, perfect for living rooms and bedrooms. Very classic.
Why can't the big TV/Bookcase be used as a TV and as a bookcase? Plus the red clock doesn't work.
7/10
Unlike the other stuff packs, this one includes new gameplay features, animations and even new NPCs!
I can't really find a flaw here, but it's just now my favourite pack.
7/10
New shiny and luxury objects. Really glamourous.
The same thing with Mansion and Garden Stuff. Too expensive. Plus, I don't really like the glamour theme itself, but the new bedroom items are incredible.
7/10
Finally a teen-themed stuff pack for once. The new objects in the pack are amazing!
The reason because I don't like it is because of the lack of themes. Seriously? Just 3 themes?
6/10
Guess what? No more boring parties with the same old balloons! Now you can make your celebrations even more festive with the new items!
I don't like parties in The Sims 2 (I like them much more in The Sims 3), but the objects and outfits are nice.
5/10
I love the cute new things for children. The Sims 3 still doesn't have a children-themed EP.
I actually love the theme, but there's not a lot to play with. Not a lot of objects, and only two themes - Underwater and Castle.
