This page in a nutshell
As the title suggests, nobody has any kind of status symbol that makes them higher up the food chain than the next user.

Here on The Sims Wiki, we operate under the belief that all users are equal. This means that nobody's opinion matters any more than that of any other user. Nobody here gets any kind of special treatment, including administrators.

What does this mean?[edit source]

This means that no matter who you are, where you're from, when you registered, whether you're an admin or not, every user on The Sims Wiki is deemed equal. This means that every user's opinion is of equal value and everybody should be treated equally.

In addition to this, it also means that, whilst a fully fledged policy in itself, every user should agree to follow our policies - nobody is exempt from any of these policies or any sort of disciplinary action stemmed from disobeying a policy.

Administrators may have tools to help them with maintaining the wiki with Bureaucrats having the same tools, as well as extra tools which allow them to promote/demote users to/from certain usergroups. Although these tools do carry some weight with them, administrators are not regarded any higher than non-administrators nor do their opinions matter any more than those of anyone else nor are administrators exempt from any policies.

New users are also equal to any other user on The Sims Wiki. We were all new users at one point and we all wanted to get involved. We've all made mistakes too at some point during our time here, nobody's perfect.
