==About me==

I live in Ireland with my 16 year old daughter. We are both Sims players.

I have been playing the Sims since the Sims 1 and love the game completely. So far, my favourite games, as far as polish and playability were the Sims 2 games. Something happened between the Sims 2 and the Sims 3 that really impacted on playability and the number of game destroying bugs sky rocketed. I would love to see them actually fix this as this is a much loved game that doesn't deserve to go down without a fight because programmers aren't bothered to ensure they're releasing a playable game.

Either way I love my sims and unless they completely destroy this franchise I can see myself enjoying this game for years to come.

Aside from Sims I enjoy RPG's. Final Fantasy VII being my favourite, but also love WRPGs like The Elder Scrolls, Fallout and some RPS games like Half Life, Bioshock and Crysis. I also enjoy puzzle games like Portal and Portal 2. I don't like straight shooters as I find them boring. I need a storyline that doesn't read like a military dossier!

* Sims 1 and all Expansion Packs. Favourite Expansion Pack, Holidays and Unleashed.
* Sims 2 and all Expansion Packs. Favourite Expansion Pack, Seasons.
* Sims 3 along with all the expansions and stuff packs, save for Fast Lane Stuff. So far Generations is my favourite Expansion Pack for the Sims 3 while Late Night is my least favourite. Love the concept for Late Night, being able to play in a city, pianos etc, but celebrity is forced upon your sim even if you don't enter the acting career or live in a place where there's even a studio or night club (Sunset Valley and Twinbrook for example)!! I felt this expansion pack was the only Sims experience where you are being '''forced''' to play the game a certain way. Yes, your local supermarket shelf stocker can be a 4 star celebrity if they know the right people...which is really stupid.
* Sims 3 along with World Adventures, Abmitions and Generations. Also have High End Loft Stuff and Outdoor Living Stuff. Admittedly stopped playing with and uninstalled WA due to the high level of recurrent bugs in the game. Was never interested in Late Nite. So far Generations is my favourite Expansion Pack for the Sims 3.
* My ultimate Sims 3 wish is that they would sell the stuff from Latethe Nightexpansion and World Adventurespacks separately. I want a piano! This was part of the base game in both Sims 1 and Sims 2 and it's absence in Sims 3 was glaring! Often if I find I don't like an expansion pack (like Late Night), I might install it just for the stuff. but WAwith howeverLate hadNight wayyou toohave manyto bugs and it's repeat play value was zero. Only one family member could ever investigage a tomb. After that fact, they're all figured outsuffer for everyonethe who should come afterwardstuff.
* Will probably never...ever download Hidden Springs. €25 for a single...solitary location? I don't think so. Not when independent modders can give you just as beautiful a location for free.
* Downloaded Barnacle Bay but got tired of everyone being dressed in pirate outfits and boots for swimming so I uninstalled it.
* We also have The Sims (the first ever console sims) for the PS2 and I think this is the only Sims game that translated well to console. Everything afterwards was terrible. Sims Bustin' Out was our first time actually owning a vehicle in the scooter and this was the last Sims console game that I would consider playable. Sims doesn't translate well to console and the Sims 3 was no exception to that fact. I'll stick to the PC game thanks!
