Mid-August 2011 News Here's a brief update on wiki-events and such. Sims Wikians - we need your help! If you are a contributor to The Sims Wiki, or even just an avid reader, we are seeking your knowledge of technical aspects of The Sims series of games! Currently The Sims Wiki has a bounty of information on Sims, games, neighborhoods and objects, but the wiki seems to lack technical information, such as troubleshooting information, guides to install modifications, and instructions on how to do certain things (for example, a tutorial on how to use SimPE, or on how to backup a saved game). Bringing this information here would truly help make the wiki a more complete source of information! If you're already a member, please do all you can to provide any information you have about these issues. If you know a lot about the games but aren't a member of the wiki yet, please register an account - registration is %100 free and enables you to contribute fully and to build a reputation. Any information you can provide is helpful and very much appreciated! Administrators needed! Four administrators were removed from their positions due to not selecting administrative projects. As a result, we are now seeking users who are skilled in wiki-editing and knowledgeable of The Sims to seek administratorship on the wiki. If you already have rollback rights, you are encouraged to apply. If you do not have rollback rights yet, please apply for rollback - we need active rollbackers too to help fight vandalism. Note that being a rollbacker is a prerequisite to becoming an administrator. Update on August Clean-up The August Clean up is halfway done, but is not going well so far. We've managed only a couple edits to trim down our list of articles needing images and articles needing a headshot. If you have any time, please take a moment to head into your games and take any pictures that we can use on these articles - your help is greatly appreciated!
