The Sims Wiki - Weekly Community Blog
The Sims news
On another dead week for the series, I've managed to dig out something, so here it is:
- The Sims 3: Island Paradise is on top of the UK PC gaming charts for a second week. It's clear that The Sims as a series is all part of EA's bid for world domination.
- The lead artist for The Sims 4, Albert Truong, has shared some character concept sketches during a recent live broadcast, with a full batch found on Flickr (thanks to SimsVIP). Reminds me of The Urbz: Sims in the City...
- EA have instigated a price hike on their PS4 and Xbox One games. Given the pricing model used by Origin, this could potentially affect TS4 on PC. Looks like Jimmy may only be getting one Christmas present next year...
Wiki news
- As well as the ones I mentioned last week, there are two more community discussiosn requiring input:
- Discussing the problems with Featured Editor
- Discussing RfX votes and reasoning (not to be confused with the other discussion)
Please stop by and have your say in the future of the wiki. If you have something you wish to bring up yourself, please don't hesitate to do so.
Poll of the week
As related to EA's price hiking, this gives me a jumping off point for this week's poll.
How much would you pay to own a copy of The Sims 4?

That's it for this week of news (or lack thereof). Now to run down the clock for the Steam Summer Sale (I doubt TS3 will be more than 50% off, let alone Island Paradise *sadface*).
