The Sims news

• Our favourite and most beloved stuff pack of all time, The Sims 3: Katy Perry's Sweet Treats, is...GONE! I'm speechless. I really don't know what to say. We have suffered a great loss.
• The Sims 3 Starter Pack is featured in the Origin Humble Bundle and you can get it by beating the average. Note that Origin's servers are pretty flaky at the moment. I'd advise, if you're interested in the games that come with them, to use the Steam keys for the time being (as their servers are a little stronger). TS3 is Origin-only here, so pick your poison but otherwise, a great deal.
• 5 days until The Sims 4 is revealed at Gamescom!
• Some possible leaked screenshots of TS4 have surfaced online.

• The userbox for the July 2013 Project of the Month is now up for those who helped out. You can find this at {{User PotM July 2013}}.
• Inobligatory community discussions links:
  • A discussion about handling the rumors page
  • We're still looking for consensus on the ambiguous gender discussion
• It was decided that using the argument of "too many admins/bureaucrats" isn't a justifiable argument in an RfA/B as determined in this thread.
