The Sims Wiki - Weekly Community Blog
The Sims News[edit source]
- The Sims FreePlay gets an update adding multi-story houses. Mobile gaming is finally reaching the heights that consoles hit a few years back, while PC could do this since...forever...
- EA have announced they're closing their "EA Partners" publishing label, known for publishing third party developments, such as Valve's The Orange Box, Left 4 Dead series, Portal 2, Crytek's Crysis series and Harmonix's Rock Band series. They've blamed their recent struggles, both internally and financially, for this. Thank you Valve for revolutionising digital distribution in a positive way. <3
- Despite getting patched earlier this week, 2013's favourite flawless launch title SimCity is apparently still broken. SimCity 4 is £9.99 on Steam and a recommended buy - you can actually play it offline.
- Monkey-coded SimCity and The Sims 3: University Life as well as the base game continue to dominate the UK PC chart. Check back in November when Call of Duty 42 takes over.
