G'day! This is WikiBuilder1147. I noticed that positions in the news team are now open, and as such today I would like to introduce my proposal for a rejuvenated Fanon News section. I have noticed that for two years no Fanon News blogs have been produced. Whether this is due to a lack of need or readership at the time of discontinuation, I am not sure. However, I strongly believe that now is the time to bring the current affairs of the Fanon namespace to the public's attention. Hence, introducing The Sim's Pen.
The Sim's Pen[edit source]
Welcome to the Pilot Issue of The Sim's Pen, The Sims Wiki's (proposed) irregularly published fanon section newspaper! In this edition of The Sim's Pen, as it is a pilot issue, the structure and features of TSP will be outlined below.
Fanon News[edit source]
This section will, as the name suggests, inform the reader of the latest news concerning the fanon namespace. The Fanon News section may also be used to promote a promising new work.
Must-Reads![edit source]
In this section will be a list of the most popular fan fiction as of the publishing of the issue in which it is...erm...published. Sometimes it will be based on what I see in the "most viewed list" on the Fan fiction category page, sometimes it will be based on fan fiction that I have read, and sometimes it will be based on absolutely no consensus at all with the community and only on my personal preference! (Just joking). Example:
As the young Redwood family settles into what is supposed to be a somewhat relaxed lifestyle in the small, sleepy country town of Sunset Valley, they are thrust headfirst into the middle of a battle for supremacy over the town between the Landgraab and Alto families. It's a mystery as to what will happen next! (It hasn't been written yet!) Good read!
As a trio of friends drive across the appropriately alien landscape of Lunar Lakes, they encounter an...you guessed it! An alien! Laugh and/or cry (maybe? I haven't read the whole thing yet) as they set off on a journey of epic, science-fictiony proportions to help Ethan Tarmac (the extraterrestrial) return home. Pick it up now!
