Illness

Why did you revert my edit? I know for a fact Unleashed Mystery Illness and Woodworker's Disease do not exist. I have looked at the code for the crafting bench: there is no reference to disease anywhere. And Unleashed Mystery Illness, let me put it this way: the C&C medicine cabinet's BHAV labelled "Kill Unleashed Disease" actually kills an inventory token that on closer inspection comes with the Vacation expansion pack, and on even closer inspection contains code for Poopy Pants/Montezuma's Revenge. --Anz 23:25, March 5, 2011 (UTC)

just a note for anyone else who might want to work with the illnesses. after spending the better part of the day going through the game far files, i'm confident that there is no unleashed mystery ailment. not to say that sims don't get sick in unleashed, but i would guess that they are actually getting Vacation Poopy Pants. there are absolutely no .iff files for illness in the unleashed far, or in the shared far. the GUID that C&C uses for the unleashed mystery ailment in their medicine cabinet is actually the GUID of the vacation disease controller, which contains all the instructions for being sick. it works with the disease inventory token.

I suggest anyone who thinks mystery illness exists give the name of the .iff file that they think contains the disease, or to point to a source more legitimate than mine (Cybergrape is not legitimate, I have examined her anti-disease objects and they only cure GPD and Poopy Pants). Neither is stuff posted by 12 year olds on the BBS seven years ago a good source to base Wiki material on. --Anz 11:07, March 6, 2011 (UTC)

Oh yes, and Woodworker's Disease definitely does not exist. There is no reference to any sort of disease in the crafting bench's programming. None. Sims may cough while they use it, but that cough does not persist: it can hardly be called a disease. --Anz 11:10, March 6, 2011 (UTC)

They are admittedly a part of Sims history, whether they existed or not. Why delete the comparison between The Sims 3 and The Sims Medieval? It's good just to see the difference.

Deletion of "Comparison between The Sims 3 and The Sims Medieval"

They use the same game engine, so TSM could be considered a spin-off of TS3, but they're not exactly from the same era. Also, there do appear to be considerable differences not only from TS3 but from the whole PC/Mac line of the series. I think those are worth noting, though you may have a point that they don't warrant a dedicated article. Reverting edits.

Hello Auror! I would just like to warn that you reverted almost all edits I made to Barnacle Bay pages, and I don't understand the reasons, I inserted into those articles the stub template because they are too small and could be improved, so why deleting the stub template? I admit that caption are italic by default, that was my bad. But headshots aren't 300px by default, they should be inserted into articles with "235px", according to manual of style. "Blonde" or "blond."

Auror, I think there might be some confusion around this topic. We can use either blonde or blond but it depends on the Sim's gender, if the Sim is female it would be more correct to say that she is "blonde," if the Sim is male it would be more correct to say that he is "blond," however this may also depend on single countries' splelling (the ones which speak English as native), but using blond is correct, and there's no rule that states that we should use "blonde" as default, so I am reverting the edits. Fanon Administratorship ending, Administrative Projects

This message is to inform you that, as of July 1, 2011, Fanon Administrators will no longer exist on The Sims Wiki. Instead, The Sims Wiki is implementing a new system of Administrative projects for administrators. You are not losing administrative rights during this switch - after the switch, you will be made a full-fledged administrator. As such you are required to select at least two administrative projects to work in. Descriptions of each position are available on the administrative projects page, and applications can be made on this application page. Until July 1, 2011, you should continue to conduct your business as a Fanon Administrator.

Are you responsible for the change of Mortimer Goth's page? You changed the "Biography" into "Background", and deleted the "Life Leading up to The Sims X". Why did you do that?
